Role and Impact

In this project, I served as the leading designer and strategist for an interactive digital presentation aimed at showcasing the impactful work done by the Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) across different districts in King County. My work provided an accessible, engaging way to communicate the DCHS's achievements and initiatives, emphasizing the department's tailored approach to addressing various community needs.

Deliverables

  • Led the design and execution of an interactive digital presentation, collecting and integrating all necessary project assets.

  • Created a custom-designed map of King County, adding a contextual visual element to the presentation.

  • Designed templates for presenting district-specific information, maintaining a cohesive, professional look across all presentation parts.

  • Authored engaging blog and social media posts to promote the project, extending its reach.

Communications

  • Released the project on Cultivating Connections, the DCHS blog.

  • Collaborated with each King County Councilmember to share the project on their respective social media platforms.

  • Supported the DCHS Director in presenting the interactive digital component to the King County Council, facilitating a more engaging, immersive experience for council members.
